The Best Cocktail Bars in Tbilisi
8000 Vintage
A wine house and wine seller with 5 branches in different parts of the city. There are many types of wines, and you can choose your wine with the help of the waiters. There is no food menu here, but you can order cheese plates with different contents as an accompaniment. My favorite plates are Tuscany, Scandiavian, Foreign Cheese Board, and Ham and Cheese. The contents are already written in the menu, so you can decide accordingly. Especially if you go on a weekend evening, it is a good idea to make a reservation. My favorite branch is located in Vake, and I am sharing its address below.
60 Irakli Abashidze Street
Dadi Wine Bar
It is located in a very central place on a street leading to Freedom Square. I find the atmosphere here very cozy. They offer the opportunity to taste natural wines from boutique wine production facilities from all over Georgia, as well as wines from different countries around the world. There is a food menu and you can also have cheese platters. You can order a tasting menu as well as drink wine individually. You can get information about wines from the employees.
4 Shalva Dadiani St
G.Vino
It is not located in a touristy place, but on a street that we locals often use. It is a small place in the entrance courtyard of a shopping center. The menu consists entirely of local and natural wines. There is a small food menu, but everything is very delicious, and the wines are really good. The employees are friendly and the service is successful. For tourists coming, this place may not be in the most relevant location, but if you stay nearby or your path crosses, be sure to go.
Courtyard of Axis Towers, 37m Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue
Sulico
It is located in the backstreets of Vera. It’s really a great place to visit, especially when the weather is nice, as it has a garden area. The food and cheese plate are quite good, and their wine selection is also excellent. You can ask the staff for help for choosing a wine. If you visit during the summer, this is definitely the wine house I would recommend, I’m sure you’ll love it.
27 Mikheil Zandukeli St
DecanTer
This wine house is located in an alley entered from Rustaveli Avenue. It has a very rich wine menu, and you can go there for individual tastings or attend special tasting events. They have both food and cheese plate options. You can get detailed information about the wines from the staff. The restaurant also hosts khinkali and khachapuri cooking workshops, so keep that in mind if you’re interested.
26 Shota Rustaveli Ave
Vino Underground
It is located near Freedom Square and Old Tbilisi, making it a very convenient location for tourists. They don’t serve food, but they offer a cheese plate as a side dish to complement their wines. The establishment is known for its wines, which are mostly traditional Georgian family-produced wines. This isn’t my personal favorite spot to go with friends, but their wines and cheese plates are good, and I would recommend it for t<wine tastings as a tourist.
