Indre by
Located in the heart of Copenhagen, Indre By is the ideal place to stay, especially for those visiting Copenhagen for the first time. Most of the historical and popular sights are within walking distance. It is also surrounded by shopping streets, restaurants and cafes. Of course, with so many good features together, accommodation prices can be a bit higher than in other parts of the city. Still, there are alternatives for every budget.
I stayed at Generator Copenhagen in this area, there are both private and dormitory rooms, I enjoyed it. It has its own bar and restaurant. It is also suitable for those who want be social. I could walk everywhere, it was very comfortable.

Vesterbro
The former working class neighborhood of Vesterbro is now one of the most vibrant and trendy neighborhoods in Copenhagen. There are hipster bars, restaurants, boutiques and galleries everywhere. This is a great location, especially for young people and those who love the social scene and nightlife. I can say that it is not suitable for families and those looking for a quieter environment. There are more affordable accommodation options here. It is not too far from the center, you can easily reach other places by walking a bit or taking public transportation.

Østerbro
Østerbro, one of the quiet and luxurious neighbourhoods of Copenhagen, stands out with its wide streets, green parks and stylish buildings. This makes it one of the most ideal locations especially for families and those looking for a peaceful stay. There are also quality restaurants and stylish boutiques in the neighbourhood. Accommodation options here may be a bit more expensive. Another disadvantage is that it is a little far from the city centre.

Nørrebro
Nørrebro is one of the vibrant neighbourhoods in Copenhagen where different cultures come together. It stands out with its colourful streets, vintage shops, various restaurants, bars and lively social life. This neighbourhood is suitable for young people, those who like cosmopolitan environments and those looking for budget-friendly accommodation. It is not far from the centre, but it is not a short walking distance. I do not recommend it for families and those looking for calmness.
We stayed at A&O Copenhagen Norrebro in this area, which has both private and dormitory rooms. We rented a bicycle and managed transportation that way.

Christianshavn
Christianshavn is a bohemian neighbourhood famous for its canals and historic buildings. The famous Freetown Christiania is located here. It can be preferred to feel the alternative lifestyle of Copenhagen. It is compared to Venice because of its canals. You can easily reach the centre with a slightly long walk or by public transport.

NH Collection Copenhagen, 25hours Hotel Paper Island
Frederiksberg
Frederiksberg is a quiet residential area a little far from the city centre. It stands out with its large parks, green areas and stylish architecture, i can say that it is one of the prestigious neighbourhoods. Accommodation prices may be a bit high for this reason. This neighbourhood is ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful accommodation, so if you are not visiting for the first time and coming with children, it may be suitable for you. Transportation may take a while, but if you stay close to public transport, it will not be a problem.
Hotel recommendations in Frederiksberg
Scandic Falkoner, Central Family Home
