The Best Cocktail Bars in Tbilisi

There are a lot of bars and nightclubs in the city, but of course, I didn’t have the chance to try them all. Based on my own experiences, I am listing Tbilisi’s best cocktail bars with their addresses.

The Best Wine Bars in Tbilisi

Fabrika

One of Tbilisi’s most popular venues, Fabrika, is a former sewing factory from the Soviet era that has been transformed into a creative space that not only serves as a restaurant or bar but also hosts a variety of different events and activities. In the courtyard of the building, there are many different cafes, small shops, and workshops. These shops sell handmade products, design items, vintage clothing, local souvenirs, and many other things usually produced by local artisans. Fabrika also serves as a hotel and hostel. In addition to its beautiful atmosphere, we also love their cocktails. It is located in Chugureti.

8 Egnate Ninoshvili St.

Stamba

The bar located within Stamba, one of Tbilisi’s most sophisticated hotels, is also quite popular, and its popularity is well-deserved. It is part of the same group as Fabrika and has been converted from an old printing house. With its high ceiling and a huge chandelier hanging from it, and the red retro bar chairs, it has a luxurious and attractive atmosphere. Of course, they complete the ambiance with their fantastic cocktails. It’s one of the places I love to hang out with my friends, and I recommend it to you too. There is also a restaurant in the same area as the bar, so you can have a meal as well. It is located in Vera.

14 Merab Kostava St

Suzie Wong Dj Bar

This is one of my favorite bars within a complex of restaurants and bars that used to be an old wine factory in Tbilisi. They also serve sushi and different Asian dishes, so you can consider it for both eating and drinking. I have never tried their food, but their cocktails are quite successful. It is located in Vera.

N1, Wine Factory, 1 Vasil Petriashvili Street

Barbar’a

I really like the interior design of this venue. Due to its proximity to tourist attractions, I can say that it is the easiest place to reach in terms of transportation. You can go there to have a drink after your city tour. They also have a food menu and are quite ambitious in that regard, as far as I know, but I have only tried their cocktails and found them to be very successful. In addition to classic cocktails, they also have their own signature cocktails. Located in the Old Town.

33 Kote Afkhazi St

Terrace Orbeliani

It used to be one of our favorite places, and we used to take almost all our friends there. Especially on weekends, it’s a lot of fun, there’s a DJ playing and everyone gets crazy. So it’s not a place to have a drink and chat with friends, it’s more of a place to dance and have fun. When we go, we also have dinner here, and the food is great. It’s located on the terrace of Bazaar Orbeliani.

3 Vekua Street

Brut Bar

This is a cute little bar located on one of Orbeliani’s charming streets. The staff is very friendly and helpful in choosing drinks. Their sparkling wine and cocktail varieties are very nice. They also serve breakfast, so keep that in mind. Location-wise, it’s relatively close to the Dry Bridge antique market, so I would recommend taking a cocktail break while you’re there.

20 Atoneli St

Cha Cha Time

This place has a more casual bar atmosphere compared to others. It takes its name from Georgia’s local drink, but besides cha cha, it’s possible to drink different cocktails and they also have food service. Located near tourist spots, it is between Old Town and Freedom Square.

5 Geronti Kikodze St

Soda Bar

A small but charming place with great cocktails. They don’t have a food menu, only snacks and desserts to order. The staff is also very friendly. It is located in the Sololaki district.

20 Shalva Dadiani St
